What is the meaning of specific packagings and for what reasons are they applied?

Some are also put in little, plastic jar with a cap that could prove quite tricky to remove. Why? That kind of closing is designed to prevent children from unsupervised eating of the active ingredient. Everyone knows the children’ curiosity about anything around them. Kids must not be able to open the lid effortlessly, but simultaneously, elderly persons with minor disabilities need to be able to reach for the medicine. The producers ought to care about the requirements of different groups of customers. And, of course, the materials applied cannot react with the chemicals contained in pills. Many substances also require light shielding. Those ones are usually packed in dark, brown vials made out of appropriate type of glass. The box must be also durable enough – it should not break easily in case it falls down.
